Avinash is a seasoned technology risk and cybersecurity leader with over 28 years of experience in IT Audit, Risk Assurance, Cybersecurity Strategy, and Digital Risk Management. His expertise lies in enabling secure digital transformation and helping enterprises navigate complex technology risks across global operations.
He has successfully led multiple global projects in IT risk management, SOC (SSAE 18), PCI DSS, data privacy, vendor risk assessments, and emerging technology risks such as AI and RPA. Avinash brings rich experience from his leadership roles at leading advisory firms like Andersen, EY, KPMG, and Genpact before joining RiskBerg.
Over the years, he has partnered with Fortune 500 companies across diverse sectors including Healthcare, Insurance, Banking, Retail, Telecom, Hi-Tech, and Manufacturing. His notable work includes defining cybersecurity strategies for large conglomerates, driving IT audit transformations, implementing ISO 27001, and executing over 5000+ vendor security assessments globally.
